Universal Free School Meals
All children in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal every day under the Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) scheme. This applies to all families, regardless of income.

Packed Lunches
If you prefer to send your child with a packed lunch, please note:
- •We are a nut-free school – no nuts or nut products
- •Please include a balanced meal with fruit/vegetables
- •No sweets, chocolate bars, or fizzy drinks
- •Use a named, insulated lunch bag with an ice pack
Benefits-Related Free School Meals
Even though all infant children receive free meals, registering for benefits-related Free School Meals (if eligible) brings extra funding to the school through Pupil Premium. This helps us provide additional support for all children.
You may be eligible if you receive:
- • Universal Credit (with annual income under £7,400)
- • Income Support
- • Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance
- • Child Tax Credit (with annual income under £16,190)
