Our Governors help to shape the vision and direction of the school and ensure that the school fulfils its statutory duties including:  

• promoting inclusive policies in relation to SEND, race equality and disability 

• having a good understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the school through its monitoring

• challenging and supporting the Headteacher and staff  

Our Governing Body is made up of representatives from Parents, Staff, the Local Community, and the Local Authority. See our Instrument of Government below for more information.

As well as meeting as a Full Governing Body, we also meet as smaller committees which focus on

• Teaching & Learning,

• Community & Welfare, 

• Resources,

• Strategy.
